Disney cancels Descendants 3 premiere starring Cameron Boyce.
The red carpet premiere of 'Descendants 3' is officially cancelled by Disney following the demise of Cameron Boyce. Meanwhile, the late actor is set to receive the honor through donation to the non-profit firm he was involved in.
A statement from Disney Channel read,
"We're proud to be part of Cameron Boyce's legacy by showcasing his talents on screen, but we are cancelling the red carpet premiere event for Descendants 3 (scheduled for July 22) and instead, The Walt Disney Company will make a donation to the Thirst Project, a philanthropic organization to which Cameron was deeply committed."
The late actor played the role of Cruella de Vil's son, Carlos in Descendants 3. The entertainment company shall ask his family permission to dedicate the musical fantasy franchise in his memory.

The actor died in his sleep following a seizure, as confirmed by his family on Saturday Night. He was merely 20 when he descended to heaven.
Victor thanked his son's fans on Twitter on Monday as he wrote, "I'm overwhelmed with the love and support our family has received. I can't thank you guys enough."
The official cause of Cameron's death is set to be determined following an autopsy that was performed on Monday.

The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner confirmed he was "found unresponsive in his home" on Saturday afternoon and subsequently pronounced dead on the scene.
