Former The Only Way Is Essex star Gemma Collins, 41, sets the temperature soaring as she debuts her brand new figure on Instagram. She is best known for her credits in TOWIE; I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! Celebs Go Dating and Dancing on Ice. Collins took no less pride as a plus-size girl, and the same goes now. As the reality star/businesswoman reveals her slimmed-down physique, fans note how Gemma looks slimmer than ever.
Gemma Clare Collins was born on January 31, 1981, in Romford, East London. She gained her celebrity through her appearance in The Only Way Is Essex in 2000, but Collins's weight was a consistent problem in the business deeply fixated on women's beauty standards. Collin's weight loss journey has been a prolonged journey, and the reality star has been articulate in documenting the excruciating yet rewarding process.

Gemma Collins' weight loss journey!
Collins was once told she was "too fat" to be a TV star; while the derogatory remark and many such unrevealed heeds may have pushed the TOWIE star to kick off her weight loss journey, Gemma's conscious effort to shed some pounds started in 2018, when the tv star took part in the eleventh series of Dancing on the Ice and dropped a whopping 2.5 stone through the venture. Gemma's pursuit of a slimmer physique didn't come easy, though.

While competing on the show, alongside professional dancer Matt Evers, Gemma got into a spat with judge Jason Gardiner, who body-shamed Collins on screen. "I didn't like it when he body-shamed me because that hurt me, and I felt embarrassed; that's why I attacked back," Gemma shared. Appearing on Today's Morning, Collins revealed her staggering weight drop during her time on the show, even though she got eliminated during the sixth week.
"I will 100 percent keep up with the fitness," Collins said. Pumped up and proud about her milestone, Gemma further adds, "I feel so much better. I can move a lot more. I can do my shoes up. I had about three tires around my middle and they've gone. I'm still a bigger girl, but when I got on the scales I was shocked." Collins got injured significantly during her brief stint on Dancing on the Ice, nearly breaking her jaw and bruising her knee badly. Collins celebrated her 41st birthday earlier this year in January and shared insight on her weight loss journey to her over 2 million Instagram followers.
