Hulk actor Mark Ruffalo says He would "Like to See" a Hulk Vs Wolverine Movie
Mark Ruffalo wants to go up against Wolverine in a movie.
The MCU is walking into unknown waters after the release of 'Avengers: Endgame' because the people who stayed with the franchise for more than 11 years are probably feeling like they went through a lot with these characters and there was a massive payoff at the end with the culmination of all the stories in 'Endgame.'
So, now the build-in fan base of the past is relatively smaller because they are unlike to go on another 11 years 23 movie run with the same characters. What MCU achieved from 2008 to 2019 is nothing short of miraculous, and it is something not even Marvel can replicate with all the people behind the scene who are now experts when it comes to making a superhero movie.

MCU set the template of how to build a franchise, but the whole 'Infinity Saga' is such a unicorn in the modern cinematic climate there is almost a unanimous certainty no one can replicate what MCU did in the near future. Even Marvel will be in trouble to do what they did with the 'Infinity Saga,' which is why though they were successful for so long, and the people at Marvel know how to make superhero movies, they are in a pretty precarious situation now.
They cannot just rehash the same storylines again, and the characters who were in the Universe are not halved with the beloved characters like 'Captain America' and 'Iron Man' along with 'Black Widow' done for good. So, the studio now needs to tell contained stories, plot lines, which do not encompass years to develop and payoff.

To that extent, 'Hulk' actor Mark Ruffalo thinks he’s got an idea of what he wants to see next, and we are warming to the idea. Well, the actor wants his character to face off against 'Wolverine' next, which is an interesting proposition. But it is also not outside the realm of possibility because the 'X-Men' are under the MCU umbrella for the first time.
Disney purchased 20th Century Fox, and now all the Marvel properties Fox was holding are now back with the Disney owned Marvel wing. The Wolverine vs. Hulk fight would not be possible if Fox was still holding the rights, but now there is no barrier for this to not happen except for the narrative the studio is going with in the future Marvel movies.

There is another potential problem Marvel will need to address when bringing 'Wolverine' to the screen again. They will need to recast the character after Hugh Jackman said he was done with the hero he played for almost 20 years. Marvel will need to bring a new actor to play the role of 'Wolverine,' and there they will need to find a story for both 'Hulk' and 'Wolverine' to go at each other’s throats.
There is a story in the Marvel comics where the two characters go head to head after 'Nick Fury' assigns Wolverine to kill 'Hulk.' 'Hulk' was getting out of control, and the gist of the story is 'Hulk' needed to be stopped, and 'Wolverine' acted as an assassin. In the end, 'Wolverine' is called off, and the two laboratory creatures do not become friends per se, but they do earn each other’s respect.

So, there is a precedent of a Hulk vs. Wolverine story, and the actor playing one of the characters is ready. Also, it seems Marvel is rewarding all of its lesser-known characters from the first Avengers movie with their own headlining projects, and Hulk also needs one after all the scene-stealing cameos he’s done over the years.
Make it happen, Marvel, because we want to see it go down, there is still the issue of a new Wolverine but other than that, there is nothing stopping the studio from pitting the two almost unkillable monsters against each other.
