Jamie Dornan Reveals He Hit Rock Bottom And Turned To Alcohol After Mum's Death

Fifty Shades of Grey star Jamie Dornan opens up about his traumatic days and alcohol addiction after the artist lost his mother at the age of just "16". 

Hollywood star Jamie Dornan, shared some of his traumatic life phases he went through precisely during the time of his mother Lorna Dornan demise as the actor was only 16-years-old. Dornan,37, mom died back in 1998 due to pancreatic cancer.

The Ireland star furthermore shared about the important person he has lost in his life as four of his friends died in a car accident last year.

As an interview by Mirror, Jamie shared,

“I had a very rough couple of years that I guess I’m still dealing with both of (those) things today, every day. But I guess they were very acute still then, and I drank a lot of everything but I had this summer where I’d go out a lot, drink, not really achieve anything."

ABC's Once Upon a Time star then open up about his sufferings and depression he suffered expressing, 

"I had a summer, I dropped out of university and I was doing a marketing degree and no interest in any aspect of marketing, and I thought “Well f**know this, I’m going to leave.”’

Jamie struggled with harsh and traumatic situations in the early days of his life,

Dornan shared about the mental issues and battling depression saying “I remember having this idea that I wanted to change and I knew I wasn’t on the right path and I needed to do something else."

"I got into an interview once and I was explaining what I got up to that summer, and the interviewer goes “So you’re depressed” and I was like “Oh s**t yeah”.’

‘I’d never seen it that way but I must have been depressed.’

Overviewing Jamie life story definately made us sadden, isn't it?  By the incident, he went through when he was a normal kid who suffered from many traumatic incidents and grew up with his stepmom. He lost his close friends with who he used to share a special bond and likely all his problems.
