Raising Dion is picked up by Netflix for another season which will start shooting this year.

There is no rating system or ad revenue to get back the cost for making a series, and the success of a new series is measured in the number of new subscribers it is able to bring in.

The massive cuts we saw this year from Netflix pertaining to series in their second and third season was due to the fact the number of subscribers who came in to watch the show did not justify the cost associated with the series.
