Jennifer Lopez confirms marriage with Ben Affleck: Exclusive story here!  

Jennifer Lopez, 52, and Ben Affleck, 49, the most talked-about couple in Hollywood and popularly known as Bennifer, are officially married. The pair's wedding has been an awaited ceremony for the thousands of Bennifer stans and for the A-listers themselves, who famously dated, got engaged and broke off in 2004 and rekindled their romance in 2020.  

"We did it. Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient," the Hustler actress writes on her exclusive fan website OntheJLo. The on-off couple tied the knots in a classic romantic affair by eloping to Las Vegas on Sunday, minus the Elvis Presley impersonator. Sources report that the 52-year-old singer wants to change her name to Jennifer Affleck.

Although the wedding remains a tightly-wrapped affair, and it will probably take a while for fans to grab some glimpses of the ceremony, the If You Had My Love crooner has spared the deets on her website. Lopez posted an after picture of her wedding day on Instagram, where the singer-actress can be seen gleaming in her white bedding. Lopez directs her fans to her website with the caption, "Sadie! #iykyk Go to OnTheJLo for all the deets."  

"Last night we flew to Vegas, stood in line for a license with four other couples, all making the same journey to the wedding capital of the world," the Marry Me actress writes. "We barely made it to the little white wedding chapel by midnight. They graciously stayed open late a few minutes, let us take pictures in a pink Cadillac convertible, evidently once used by the king himself," Lopez adds, referring to Presley.

The Shall We Dance actress goes on to reveal that she donned a dress from an old movie and calls it the best possible wedding. "(It was) the best possible wedding we could have imagined, one we dreamed of long ago and one made real at very, very long last," JLo adds. Thanks to the pair's impromptu wedding, Lopez and Affleck's dud film, Gigli (2002), on the sets of which they met and fell in love, is trending once again.

Lopez was freshly out of her second marriage with Cris Judd when she started dating the two Oscar-winning actor. By November 2002, Lopez and the Good Will Hunting actor were engaged. The pair's whirlwind romance came to an end amid excessive media scrutiny in 2004. "We just happened to be together at the birth of the tabloids, and it was like 'Oh, my God.' It was just a lot of pressure," the Grammy-winning singer explained at the time.

Since going their separate ways in 2004, both Lopez and Affleck have had their share of relationships. Just months after her split from Ben, Lopez married singer Mark Anthony, with whom he shares her twins, Max and Emme. The two stayed spouses for almost ten years before calling it quit in 2014. The Hustlers actress famously dated New York Yankees star player Alex Rodriguez from 2017 to 2021.

 Affleck was married to Jennifer Garner from 2005 to 2018. He shares three kids with Garner. Before rekindling his decades-old romance with Lopez in April 2021, Affleck briefly dated his Deep Water co-star Ana de Armas. Affleck's list of exes also includes Gwyneth Paltrow and Lindsay Shookus.
