Katey Sagal Had Her Daughter Through Surrogacy at 52: The Actress is a Mother to Three! 

Katey Sagal has a stellar resume as an actress. She rose to fame playing Peggy Bundy in the sitcom, Married...With Children. Sagal's other memorable roles include Leela on the sitcom Futurama, Dr. Jones in Shameless, and Gemme Teller Morrow on Sons of Anarchy.  

Born on January 19, 1954, in a family of five children, Sagal initially followed in her mother, Sara Zwilling's footsteps. Though she boasts a few hit singles to her name, Katey is still better known as an actress. Married to her fourth husband, Sagal is a mother of three children; she had her third daughter via surrogacy at 52.

The 67-year-old actress has lived a turbulent married life. She has been married thrice previously and currently leads a drama-free life with her fourth husband, Kurt Sutter. Sagal's journey into motherhood didn't start well either.

The Futurama actress gave birth to a stillborn daughter while married to her second husband, Jack White. While the mishap took place in 1991, Katey opened up about it in 2017; during a promotional event of her book, Grace Notes. "I lost a child at 8 months, i couldn't wrap my head around it," said the actress.

Sagal further shares the traumatic experience following her loss. The actress went onto have children in 1994, 1996, and 2007. Her oldest, Sarah Grace White, is an actress. Her credits include Bastard Executioner, Rebel, and NCIS. Just like his sister, Sagal's second kid, Jackson James White, is also an actor.

Jackson seems to be leading a much-multifaceted career in showbiz. Following his father's footprints, he is also an aspiring writer. As per IMDb, he is also a director. Jackson holds credits in movies like Mrs. Fletcher, Ambulance, and The Middle.  

Katie Sagal Welcomes a Daughter Via Surrogacy!  

At 52, the LA native actress knew well enough that she won't conceive a child. The actress reveals her husband didn't want any more children and was happy being a stepfather to her two kids. "About five years into the relationship, we started toying with the idea of raising a child together," Sagal confessed to People.

"At this point, i was too old to carry child," she had written in her book, Grace Notes. Sagal and Sutter opted to adopt a child at first, the duo says, they met some unanticipated problems while trying to adopt. Th couple, at last, decided to attempt surrogacy.

"We went through the whole Vitro Fertilization process, and our embryos weren't strong enough," Sagal tells the publication. "Let's give it a shot; if it is meant to be, it's meant to be, if it isn't meant to be, we weren't going to do it, she concluded. Sagal and Kutter gave welcomed their beautiful daughter, Esme Louise Sutter, in 2007.
