Actor Leonardo DiCaprio and supermodel Gigi Hadid may be an item. The swirling rumors about the duo being a thing have fans divided. While a section stans the unexpected pair, many are taken aback and not liking the duo as a couple. DiCaprio, 47, recently called it quits with his longtime girlfriend Camila Morrone, and Hadid, 27, has been single since her breakup from Zayn Malik, with whom she shares a daughter.  

DiCaprio and Hadid's dating rumors started after the pair were spotted spending time in New York City. An insider soon propagated the rumor by stating that the Titanic actor was indeed pursuing the model, but they are yet to be a couple. "They are getting to know each other," the source said, adding, "Leo is definitely pursuing Gigi."

Gigi and Malik's stans have already taken to Twitter to express their shock and disappointment. "Gigi Hadid went from this to this," writes a disgruntled fan, sharing a side-by-side snap of DiCaprio and Malik. Another tweeted, "Gigi went from this to this." Some even went as far as to blame Hadid's mom Yolanda Hadid for Gigi's possible relationship with DiCaprio. The Pillowtalk crooner and Gigi ended their relationship after the infamous altercation between Yolanda and Zayn last year.

Another source assures the Oscar winner and the 26-year-old model are only at the beginning stage of a romance, and nothing is to be said as of now. "They've been hanging out in groups," the source explains, adding, "It's only been a few weeks since the split. Since then, he's been hanging out with friends and family," referring to Leo's fresh split from Morrone, who he started dating in early 2018.

DiCaprio's love life has been under intense media scrutiny since the press figured out the actor's disturbing taste for extremely young women. The Inception star's string of young girlfriends includes model Toni Garn, Nina Adgal, Bar Refaeli, Kelly Rohrbach, and Morrone. DiCaprio has since garnered a distasteful reputation for dating women younger than 25.

Sources suggest that the Oscar winner isn't looking to fool around with the supermodel and is after a real connection. "DiCaprio isn't someone who is in and out of relationships. He doesn't jump around hooking up. They are taking it slow," the source said. The Wolf of the Wall Street actor is reportedly trying to up his age range after being called out for dating 25 and under. While Zayn remains Hadid's best-known boyfriend, the model had dated high-profile names like Joe Jonas, Lewis Hamilton, and Cody Simpson in the past.
