Subsequently, Dallas Cowboys recruited Scandrick with another six-year deal, which worth $28.2 million in 2011.
While Orlando's career was doing well, things began to drop down on August 11, 2014, when NFL announced that he got suspended for the first four-game due to substance abuse. He was tested positive for MDMA; however, his suspension was reduced to two games after revising the league drug policy.

Then he signed a two-year contract with the Washington Redskins but got released on August 14, 2018. He got recruited for one-year in Kansas City Chiefs and was paid around $1.5 million on August 19, 2018.

On July 27, 2019, Orlando became one of the players of Philadelphia Eagles but was released on August 30. However, he got resigned on September 27 in the team and was released on October 21, 2019, after getting beaten in the open field by the Cowboys’ Tavon Austin on a jet sweep for a 20-yard touchdown.
