Scarlett Johansson Hopes Black Widow Movie will Provide Closure to the Fans
Scarlett Johansson hopes fans will find closure with her final appearance in Black Widow.
After years of asking, begging, crying, and screaming, finally, Marvel is bringing a solo 'Black Widow' movie to the big screen. Scarlett Johanssen is reprising her MCU character and appearing in the MCU for the final time.
For the small fraction of people who are still unaware of what happened in 'Avengers: Endgame,' this is a Spoiler Alert! Scarlett Johansson played the character of 'Black Widow' in the 'Avengers: Endgame,' where her choice was to sacrifice herself so the soul stone can be retrieved. She jumped off the cliff and plunged to her death, which was the reason the heroes were able to get everyone back.

Since the character died in the last 'Avengers' movie, we know 'Black Widow' will be a prequel, and it was confirmed by the director of the film who said the movie would take place between 'Civil War' and Infinity War when 'Natasha' goes off on her own and encounters people from her past.
The actress who played the character for over a decade was at the premiere of 'Jojo Rabbit,' where she was asked about the upcoming Marvel farewell for her character. She spoke to Entertainment Tonight when she was asked about what is in store for her final Marvel Outing.

Scarlett said, “What are we gonna get out of the new movie? Closure? I hope so. I don't know if I can take it anymore without closure. It's too exhausting.” She also revealed the movie is almost done, “I love it. I'm so proud of what we made, and now we get to sprinkle the magic over it and get it ready for audiences.”
For years, fans wanted a solo 'Black Widow movie,' and it was not viable back when Marvel was setting up the MCU. They could’ve made it in between different projects like they did with 'Ant-Man' but better late than never. Finally, the movie will hit theatres, and we will be able to say goodbye to the character for the last time.

Robert Downey Jr. was another actor whose character sacrificed himself to save everyone, and he is also said to be making an appearance in the upcoming Black Widow movie. Robert will also play Iron Man for one final time, and this whole movie feels like the last hurrah from Marvel to the people who started the MCU in the first place.
Black Widow will also include William Hurt playing 'General “Thunderbolt” Ross' in the movie, which will arrive on 1 May 2020 and kick off the fourth phase of the MCU.
