Teen Choice Awards 2019 arrived at Hermosa Beach, California and big Hollywood stars brought the glitz and the glamour at the show.

Lucy Hale and David Dobrik brought the celebrations to order, and the Katy Keene starrer (Riverdale spinoff) along with the YouTube vlogger made sure the two hours run time was smooth and fun. The two tag-teamed well during the show and Fox made a good choice hiring the two popular stars.

The show’s main highlight was Taylor Swift (obviously) who announced the title track of her much-awaited upcoming album ‘Lover.’ She took to the stage to receive the first-ever icon award and gave a rousing speech about equality and love while also announcing the release date for her new album. She said, “The album comes out on August 23rd, but I wanted to tell you guys tonight that on the 16th, on Friday, I have a new song called ‘Lover’ that’s coming out and I’m excited.”

This year’s nomination was led by Avengers: Endgame which received nine awards in the movie category, along with Taylor Swift who received eight nominations in the music category. Robert Downey Jr. won the best actor award beating out competition from fellow Endgame actors Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Paul Rudd, with John Cena who was nominated for Bumblebee and Samuel L. Jackson who received the nomination for Captain Marvel.

The Award show also brought in some musicians to bring some much needed fun. OneRepublic, Bazzi, Blanco Brown, Mabel and Jordan McGraw with Sarah Hayland took to the stage to bring the show home and call the curtains for an exciting show.
