Newly Engaged and soon-to-be first-time parents, Tom Hiddleston, 41, and his fiancée, actress Zawe Ashton, 37, couldn't be any happier. A source has confirmed the couple's first pregnancy after a few days since Ashton flaunted what appeared to be an early baby bump during the premiere of her new movie Mr. Macolm's List in New York City. The upcoming drama, which also stars Freida Pinto, Sope Dirisu, and Oliver Jackson-Cohen, is scheduled to be released on July 1.  

Donning a gorgeous off-shoulder, beaded gown that seemed to be highlighting her bump, the Velvet Buzzsaw actress radiated graceful beauty, which we now know was pregnancy glow. The Loki actor and Ashton started dating in 2019 after co-starring in the play Betrayal but chose to keep the swirling romance under wraps. But the duo's frequent public appearances and dates gradually brought their romance to light.   

The happy news comes just after two months since Tom confirmed his engagement to Zawe.

The starting romance rumors came about when Hiddleston and Zawe were spotted attending the US Open in August 2019. "Tom has always been a very, very private person. Behind the scenes, they would just privately be affectionate and hugging and sitting next to each other and holding hands," an insider said about the couple, who made their red carpet debut at the Tony Awards in September 2021.

The Loki actor, "a very private person," as described by a close source, revealed that he was engaged with the Velvet Buzzsaw actress earlier this year. But the sweet revelation didn't come without long speculation and inundated interest in the actor's life. Tom and Zare sparked engagement rumors after Zawe was pictured sporting a shiny diamond ring at the BAFTA 2022.

Although Hiddleston didn't give away much about his extremely private romantic life, the actor closed the blaring questions about his love life, saying, "I'm very happy." The actor reportedly proposed to Ashton in March. Hiddleston's high walls around his personal life is understandable, considering the actor's miffed experience with a former romance. Hiddleston famously dated singer Taylor Swift in 2016 and parted ways after three months.

"Taylor is an amazing woman. She is generous and kind and lovely, and we had the best time," said the Thor actor; he adds, "Of course, it was real." But after intense media scrutiny and nocent rumors about how their romance was a publicity stunt and more, Hiddleston seemingly cemented a boundary on the media's access to certain aspects of his life.

"I love what I do and I dedicate myself with absolute commitment to making great art and great entertainment, and in my mind I don't conflict the two. My work is in the public sphere and I have a private life. And those two things are separate," explained the Loki actor.
