Black Widow Movie: The First Trailer Shows a Family Reunion, New Look and a Lot of Sweet Action
The first trailer for Black Widow is here and we are getting a family reunion for Natasha.
After years of anticipation, hope and continues asking, the 'Black Widow' movie will arrive in theatres next year. But before we get into the film, there is the first trailer which made its way onto the internet at midnight, and it is everything you hoped it would be, a look at Black Widow’s past, people she was with before and what made her run away from her past.
We know the movie is set to take place before the events of the 'Infinity War' and after the fallout of the ending of the 'Civil War.' The 'Captain' faction is on the run; heroes like 'Scott Lang,' who was a white-collar criminal back in the day, get to come back home and get a slap on the wrist. 'Hawkeye' as well gets to be with his family after all the years of service in protecting the people.

But where do people like 'Black Widow' go, someone who cannot return home for some mysterious reason and is being hunted by the same people she worked with since leaving home. Well, the trailer makes it clear from the start; she is done running from the past and ready to go back home, and this is exactly what she does.
The first scene we see is of 'Natasha' on the run from the people coming to catch her, and the first voice is of 'Secretary Ross,' who says, “you left in a hurry.” After the warning she received from Tony, stemming from how she helped 'Captain' and the other heroes affiliated with the 'Captain' escape, leaving in a hurry was a given.

Other captured heroes got a floating prison; she would’ve received an even darker fate, and leaving was the only option for the original member of the 'Avengers.' In her bid to escape, though, she needs to call upon some old friends, who are definitely not happy to see her. The first person 'Natasha' meets is his sister 'Yelena Belova,' the one person who is the least happy to see her.
Played by Florence Pugh, 'Yelena' and 'Natasha' get into a fight and throw all the aggression behind and direct their attention to the real enemy, the place which made them both killers. Then, we get an appearance of 'Black Widow' in the costume from the concept art released at the comic con.

In the same costume, we get our first look at the character Rachel Weisz is playing, Melina Vostokoff. We also get our first look of David Harbour as 'Alexei Shostakov' or better known as the 'Red Guardian.' Then there is the white suite debut while Black Widow goes searching for a battle so she can reclaim parts of her past and leave it behind, where it belongs.
There is some bonkers action, flying gun-fights, and by the end of the trailer, a family reunion for 'Black Widow' with all the people from her past, sitting together, enjoying a meal. The problem most people had with the ending of 'Endgame' was 'Natasha' did not get the same respect 'Tony' got, but it seems this will be the proper goodbye for the character.

Oh, and there are rumors Robert Downey Jr. is coming back as Iron Man in the movie for a small cameo. These are just rumors at this point, and it would be nice to see the two characters talk again.
It will be an emotional time when 'Black Widow' arrives in theatres on May 2020. We know the fate waiting for the character in 'Endgame,' which is why this movie will be a bittersweet curtain call to the OG Avenger, one of the first six who first made us fall in love with the MCU.
