Unarguably one of the finest faces Netflix has offered its viewers, Chance Perdomo's talents and on-screen charisma are equally to fall hard for. Although you may recognize him for playing the pansexual warlock in Netflix Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Perdomo claims he rose to fame from BBC drama, Killed by My Debt.  

Born in Los Angeles, California, Perdomo is a 24-year-old actor. A graduate of Peter Symonds College, Chance originally wanted to pursue Law. But a small part on an episode of Hetty Feather was enough to prompt him to take drama. While Perdomo's fans may have been familiar with his love life, not many know about Chance's parents and his early life. So let's take a look at these aspects of his life below.

Chance was born in Los Angeles and raised in Southampton, England. Thus the actor holds both British and American citizenship. Perdomo describes himself as a black child raised by a Latino mother in a white society. Chance says his mixed background has allowed him a better insight into his profession.

Perdomo hasn't revealed the primary information about his parents, and the little known about his early life and family is from a few anecdotes he shared. Born in America, Chance moved to Southampton as a toddler with his mother. Raised by a single mother, Chance credits his mother for his success.

A look at Perdomo's Instagram, @chance_Perdomo, and you can tell he is a mama's boy. In a post, the actor pays tribute to his mother. "All things began with her, all things I owe her; she's a rare breed, powerful, gentle, and kind. I know no greater teacher save for the almighty upstairs," Chance wrote on his post.

In an interview with The Last Magazine, Perdomo reflects on his upbringing and early life. Chance shares, he attended Redbridge Community School and was a troubled kid. "I used to get into trouble a lot when I was younger. When I discovered acting, I was able to focus my energy obsessively," he told the magazine.   

Chance Perdomo's Career Highlights!  

Did you know Chance had originally auditioned for the role of Jughead in Riverdale? A role which went to Cole Sprouse. But Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa was so impressed by Chance's audition that he wrote a role for Chance in CAOS with his audition in mind.  

Chance Perdomo was nominated for BAFTA in 2019.

Perdomo's role in BBC docudrama, Killed By My Debt earned him a BAFTA nomination in 2019. But his role, Ambrose Spellman in CAOS, remains the actor's biggest role in his career. Perdomo now preps to star in After sequels, After We Fell, and After Ever Happy. He scored the role after Shane Paul McGhie announced he had left the franchise.
