Inside Cole Sprouse and Ari Fournier's Budding Romance

Actor Cole Sprouse recently crossed the 30th milestone, and we can't help but reminisce the era when the actor was just an adorable, fun-loving kid on our favorite childhood sitcom, The Suite Life on Deck, where Cole played Cody Martin, with his twin brother Dylan Sprouse, who portrayed Zack Martin. Some of our favorite Cole works are Big Daddy, Five Feet Apart, and Friends.  

As Sprouse's new flame, Ari Fournier, commemorated the occasion by sharing some rare PDA-filled snaps of the duo, we are also reminded of the time when Cole had the most adorable relationship with his Riverdale co-star, Lilli Reinhart. Sprouse, 30, is an actor and photographer. Ahead is a look inside his relationship with Fournier and dating history.

Sprouse's new flame, Ari Fournier, 23, took to her Instagram page on August 4 and gave fans an insight into her and Cole's steaming relationship. Fournier shares several PDA-filled and adventurous snaps of the duo with the caption, "hard to describe with a couple of photos how much fun we have together and how much I love celebrating life every day with you. I'm truly the luckiest girl in the world. Happy birthday my love, here's to 30."

The pair first sparked romance last year in March. Cole and Ari were pictured hand in hand, strolling around Vancouver, Canada. The insinuating stroll was followed by a brunch and more meandering. The swirling rumor was confirmed as Cole and Ari went Instagram official shortly. The pair have since kept it low-key but haven't refrained from giving a few glimpses of their love life every now and then.

Fournier, 23, is a Montreal-based model represented by Premier model management. Ari was previously signed with Elite model management. Not a bonafide star like her boyfriend, Fournier's Instagram page, where she boasts over 263k followers, provides enough insight into the model's life. Fournier is an ardent equestrian and hence reveals an admirable enthusiasm for animals.

"I actually grew up literally riding horses out in the countryside. It was just simple. Horses, dogs, and cats, it was just the most simple childhoods," Fournier shares on her Youtube, which she started during the quarantine. Since coming out officially with the Friends alum, Fournier has been the subject of massive hate. Cole revealed earlier this year that he and Ari continue to bear internet bullying from fans who still haven't moved on from his breakup with Lilli.

Sprouse and Reinhart, 25, starred as Jughead and Betty in the long-running crime drama Riverdale and it didn't take the co-stars long to translate the romance into real life. Starring KJ Apa, Lilli, Cole, Camila Mendes, and Madelaine Petsch, Jughead and Betty are still going strong in the series, but sadly, Sprouse and Reinhart's ship sank after almost four years of romance.

Fans couldn't have been more excited when Cole and Reinhart first sparked dating rumors after their series' premiere. The rumor went on for months before the couple made it official at the 2018 Met Gala. Sprouse and Reinhart dated on and off since then. Lilli and Cole would often post the cutest tributes to each other but, at the same time, remained tight-lipped about the juicy deets.

"It's not like I'm trying to dangle my relationship in front of people's faces like, 'You don't know anything about us," the Hustler star once retorted. Reinhart disparages the commonly held perception about celebrities' love life being a public matter. "It's just; you don't need to know. People feel like they're owed that, and you're absolutely not owed anything by me," Reinhart adds.

The pair's breakup rumors dropped like a bomb on all the Bughead and Sproushart stans in July 2019, but Reinhart was quick on her feet to debunk the tabloid hoax. "Don't believe everything you read on the internet, kids. And news sources should try a little harder to be less vile. 'Reliable sources' can kiss my a**," Reinhart tweeted.

The Five Feet Apart actor confirmed his and Lilli's split in August 2020, and although it's been over two years, fans have still not recovered from their favorite couple's separation. Cole shared he felt forced to break the news because of the public's interest in their relationship. "I wish her nothing but the utmost love and happiness moving forward," Cole said while talking about their breakup. Affirming an amicable split, the actor/photographer adds, "Also, her movie [Chemical Hearts] comes out soon! I'm sure she's just as incredible in it."
