Country Singer 'Dixie Crush' Lindsey Lagestee Passes at 25 - Reason Behind Her Death

Country Singer Lindsey Lagestee dies at the young age of 25 from a car accident.

One of the soulful country musical kahuna Lindsey Lagesteeand - the frontwomen of band Dixie Crush, passed away on Monday, Feb. 17, days after a fatal car accident. 

As reports from the Taste of Country, the singer was heading toward Firewater Saloon in Chicago, where her band had a gig that night for Valentine day. But sadly, on her way ahead, she was hit by a car while crossing the road. Soon after the incident, she was shortly taken to Advocate Christ Hospital, but unfortunately, Lindsey couldn't survive the pain. 

The 25 years old demise news which was initially shared by her band from a Facebook post  among their thousands of followers.

The post reads, Some of you may have already heard the terrible news, but it is with the heaviest of hearts, we sadly share that Lindsey Renee passed away on Monday due to complications from the accident last Friday," the post, alongside a photo of Lagestee, reads. "Our hearts are broken over this senseless tragedy.

Adding on the post, the band concluded the tribute writing, "above and beyond being an incredible performer, great friend, and the best bandmate, Lindsey was a loving daughter to Linda and Vaughn, compassionate sister to Lauren, Carrie, and Samantha, adoring aunt to Andrew, Colin, Danielle, Alexander, and Amber, and wonderful girlfriend to Kevin."

The multi-talented Dixie was by profession a pharmacist who graduated with a PharmD degree from Midwestern University. She was also passionate, which made her form the band 'Dixie Crush' in 2015, which was doing quite well.
