The Final Trailer of The Witcher puts Nilfgaard Army Front and Centre
The Nilfgard army is coming while Geralt is on a quest to find Cirilla and protect her from whatever is coming to get her.
In a way to drum up hype, Netflix just released the final trailer for the upcoming and highly anticipated 'The Witcher' series and after glimpses of the Nilfgard soldiers and “a sea of black and gold” walking down the mountain, the Nilfgard army gets a day in the sun. The army is the centerpiece of the final trailer released by Netflix, and with each clip, people are getting more and more comfortable with the idea of Henry Cavill as 'Geralt.'
In the first trailer, we got a lot of swordplay and some amazing fight scenes with some dialogue delivery by Henry Cavill as 'Geralt' and did so much as to set the stage for the first season of 'The Witcher.' But the tone of the final trailer is different, no more setting the story, time to show the real villains of the series while also hiding, what Lauren Hissrich said, the new monsters they’ve included in the show.

Nilfgard is the most powerful empire in the world inhabited by the characters of 'The Witcher,' and the whole point of the army of Nilfgard trying to invade Cintra and battle with their armies is to get to 'Princess Cirilla.' 'Cirilla' is the next in line for the throne in 'Cintra,' and some mysterious power wants to get their hands on the Princess for their own nasty purposes.
In the last trailer, 'Cirilla' said she needed to find 'The Witcher,' 'Geralt of Rivia,' and he was told about his duty of protecting the girl. But in this trailer, we see 'Geralt' tell someone off-screen about finding the girl and protecting her from something nasty coming for her. Also, we see 'Yennefer,' played by Anya Chalotra, sharing some screen time with 'Geralt' and telling him how the Nilfgard army will destroy Cintra.

Then there was the sweet choreography fight with 'Yennefer' and 'Geralt' tag-teaming against some assailants who did not even know what hit them. It seems as though the people who were raving about the amazing action in the show were not just overhyping the show, the whole thing does look amazing, and we are more than excited to see what is in store for the characters of the show in the first season of 'The Witcher.'
The first season of 'The Witcher' will be available on 20 December 2019, and all the episodes will be available at the same time on Netflix in a week’s time. So, better set aside eight hours this weekend because the blood and gore infused The Witcher is the one show you will not want to miss out on this year.
