Johnny Depp Is Unlikely To Return For Fantastic Beasts 3

Fantastic Beasts 3 most likely won't star Johnny Depp.

Hipes are in the highest of amounts for the upcoming and untitled third rendition of the Fantastic Beasts movie. And now, it seems as if Johnny Depp is yet to be confirmed to have a role in it.

To point out that Johnny Depp is going through a rough patch for the last few months is a massive understatement at this point in time. As his troubles with the ex-wife and Aquaman star Amber Heard made it to the public with his alleged abuse towards her, Johnny Depp has lost significant roles over time including the like of Jack Sparrow in future Pirates Of The Caribbean films.

In fact, the former couple is still battling hard in court over an allegation made by Johnny Depp against Amber Heard. In fact, Depp claims that in order to effectively boost her Hollywood career Heard tried to defame him.

Being said that, things aren't quite sunny on the Fantastic Beasts franchise side either. As per reports by The Blast, Warner Bros. hasn't even evaluated Johnny Depp’s contract option for the portrayal of the evil wizard and main antagonist of the series, Gellert Grindelwald in one of the most awaited movie franchise.

It looks as if Warner Bros. is quite skeptical on letting the 'Pirates Of the Carabian' star in on the Fantastic Beasts 3 movie as his troublesome past is coming to light. Although the actor signed the contract for all 5 of the movies in the series there is only the bare minimal chance that he would actually end up playing the role.

Nevertheless, as it turns out Johnny Depp has some heavy hitters backing him up. To add up, one of the important ones is Harry Potter creator J.K. Rowling who’s allegedly still on the defending side for his role as Gellert Grindelwald for all five of the Harry Potter spin-offs.

Fantastic Beasts 3 is set to be released on November 12, 2021. Moreover, it appears as if J.K. Rowling took it upon herself to improvise on the story of Fantastic Beasts 3 and needs more time in order to get it right, shifting the production time of the project for yet another time.

The film has nothing sort of a synopsis as of late but Fantastic Beasts 3 will probably have its plot around the relationship between Albus Dumbledore and Gellert Grindelwald.
