Priyanka Chopra Shares Rare Snap of Daughter Malti in New Instagram Post

No love like a mother's love: Actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas, 40, can't get enough of her 7-month-old daughter Malti. In a rare Instagram post, the actress posted a picture of her daughter, who was facing away from the camera as Chopra held her tight. "Love like no other," captions Mrs.Jonas. The second slide of the post showed Priyanka with her daughter's tiny feet touching her face.

The sweet post has garnered thousands of smitten comments from fans and Chopra's fellow Bollywood celebs, including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Anushka Sharma, Dia Mirza, and Parineeti Chopra. The desi girl and her husband, Nick Jonas, 29, dropped a sweet surprise for their fans when the duo announced they had welcomed a daughter via surrogate.

"We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate," the couple said in a statement. The Jonas couple added, "We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much." Although Chopra and Nick kept their baby's arrival a secret until the final moment, the Quantico alum shared her desire to become a mom ahead of their baby's birth.

"[Kids are] a big part of our desire for the future," the Baywatch actress said. Chopra added, "I'm a very, very ambitious person. But I think the woman in me is craving balance. I'm craving my family life." Priyanka and her singer-husband hardly share any snippets of their firstborn, but in a rare conversation earlier this year, the pair reflected on their journey into parenthood and some more revelation.

"Every family's journey is unique and requires a certain level of faith, and while ours was a challenging few months, what becomes abundantly clear, in retrospect, is how precious and perfect every moment is," said the Desi girl while revealing her newborn's 100 days stay in the NICU. Although both the first-time parent didn't specify the cause behind Malti's extended stay in the hospital, a source called their daughter "a fighter."

"These past few months have been heart-wrenching, but both parents did not give up hope and remained optimistic," shared the close source, adding, "Nick and Priyanka feel blessed and have been appreciative of everyone’s outpour of love and support during this time." Chopra and Jonas tied the knots in an extravagant ceremony in India. The twosome had started dating in late 2016.
