Priyanka Chopra & Nick Jonas Welcome First Baby, Details About their Relationship

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas's baby girl has arrived 12 weeks before the due date: Inside the couple's happy marital life!  

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have welcomed a daughter via surrogacy. Close sources have confirmed that the newborn arrived on Saturday, January 15. But the A-lister duo may have been as surprised as their fans as their baby arrived 12 weeks before her due date. Chopra, 39, is an Indian actress, singer, model, and entrepreneur. She forayed into acting after winning the 2000 Miss World pageant.  

After conquering Bollywood and rising to become one of the highest-paid entertainers in India, Chopra rose to stardom in the States after starring as Alex Parrish in ABC's Quantico. Jonas, 29, is a singer and actor; he rose to fame with the pop band Jonas Brothers, which he formed with his brother, Kevin and Joe.

The former Miss World and her husband have sneakily welcomed a baby via surrogacy. Close sources have confirmed the couple's newborn arrived on Janaury 15, Saturday, in a Southern California hospital. The Jonas couple was spotted near San Diego at Del Mar Dog Beach, just a day before their baby's arrival. The actress had sparked pregnancy rumors back in 2019, but it turned out to be a false alarm.

Chopra and Jonas haven't revealed their baby's name yet but have shared their feelings about being first-time parents. The Quantico actress took to her Instagram a little after the media caught the news of their baby. "We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family," Chopra wrote on Instagram. Nick also shared the same message.

The news of their firstborn comes days after Chopra sparked divorce rumors, as she dropped her husband's last name from her Instagram handle. The Indian actress ended the negative speculation in no time and assured her marriage with Jonas was stronger than ever.

In her interview with E!, the Baywatch actress said, "I wanted the username to match my Twitter, I guess. I find it really amusing that everything becomes such a huge deal to people. It's social media, guys. Just chill out."Priyanka got candid about her high-profile relationship earlier this year. The couple revealed they've set boundaries around their personal life. " We've worked hard to create that little haven for ourselves with our friends and family," the Jonas couple said.

Chopra and Jonas proved they were indeed mad in love when they announced their engagement just a month after becoming Instagram official.

The duo was celebrating Priyanka's 35th birthday in Crete, Greece when Jonas got down on his knee and popped the question. "I said: Will you make me the happiest man in the world and marry me?" Jonas later revealed. The couple tied the knots in December 2018 in an extravagant ceremony. Their nuptial spanned three days, with the couple exchanging their vows in both Hindu and Christian ceremonies.
