The Reason Cardi B Thought It Was Important to Talk About Her Liposuction

Cardi B wants her fans to know why it was important to talk about her liposuction.

The Grammy Award-winning rapper, Cardi B underwent liposuction not long after she got a boob job following the birth of her first child, Kulture Kiari Cephus last year.

The 26 years old artist didn't want to hold back to her fans and finally let them know why she decided to undergo the cosmetic procedure.

Only last month, Cardi, whose original name goes by Belcalis Almánzar opened up getting her breasts redone through plastic surgery.

The 'Bodak Yellow' singer then explained: "I just got my boobs redone. I feel good, but then sometimes I feel like not, you know? [When] your skin is stretched out."

Whilst it's not been much since she underwent Liposuction, the rapper recently spoke to Entertainment Tonight at the launch of her new Fashion Nova line in Los Angeles.

EXplaining why she decided to get Liposuction, a surgery that involves the procedure of removing body fat, she said: "I want to explain to people how hard it is to process. I feel like people look at girls on Instagram and go, 'Oh, they got their lipo done and it was so easy."

"It is just such a long, hard process, almost like the same process as after you give birth to a baby and you see your body change and snapping it back," she added.

As hard and difficult it is to go through the recovery process after getting liposuction, Cardi only told the crowds at the Beale Street Music Festival in Memphis, Tennessee last weekend that she wasn't supposed to be on the stage and perform that day.

The 'Money' singer said: "I shouldn't really be performing. I should've canceled today because moving too much is gonna f**k up my lipo."

Nevertheless, the cosmetic surgery wasn't going to stop her, though.

"But b**ch, I'm still gonna get this mother f**king money back, let's go!" she told the crowd.

Unlike the other celebrities who refuse to discuss undergoing cosmetic surgeries, Cardi B always keeps it real with her fans. 

Only last year, she complained about her struggle with weight loss on Instagram, saying: "I've been very depressed because I cannot stop losing weight. And it's so crazy because when I first gave birth, I did everything to lose my baby weight. I was drinking Teami [tea] so it could curb my appetite and now that I lost all the baby weight...I don't like looking too skinny"
