 After a few high-profile romances and two failed engagements, Sharon married Phil Bronstein, an acclaimed journalist. Phil and Stone adopted a son named Roan Joseph Bronstein as Stone couldn't conceive any because of an autoimmune disease. 

The Basic Instinct actress's relationship came to an end when her husband Phil filed for divorce in 2004 citing irreconcilable differences. Divorced and done, Stone adopts her second and third son in the consecutive years after her divorce.

The twice-divorced and now single said that she is done with dating and that she has seen it all in an interview on "The Drew Barrymore show".

Stone suffered a fatal stroke in 2001 and came out of it more grateful than ever. The 64 years old is finally ready to open up about her experiences in her autobiography  "The beauty of living twice" which will chronicle her near-death experience and her journey in Hollywood.

Sharon Stone received the Peace Summit award in 2013 for her efforts toward HIV/Aids sufferers. In many instances, UNICEF and other institutions heavily criticized the producer for her well-meant intentions that didn't quite have the same result.

Sharon had undergone surgery to remove a benign but massive tumor from her breast, but the surgeon chose to give her a full-cup size breast as well.
